Community Fundraiser (Tool Sales)
Are you a retail-minded person looking to use your skills to make a real difference? If so, we'd love you to join our team! As a Tool Sales Community Fundraiser for TWAM, you'll be instrumental in helping us raise vital funds and awareness for our cause by getting involved with our tool sales in either Ipswich or Rugby.
Not every tool that we are donated can be sent to Africa. We currently raise a significant percentage of our funds by selling rare or surplus tools and other items (such as militaria, rare Bibles, jewellery, and so on) that we get donated on Gumtree, eBay, or at auctions and in emporium shops.
Your main role will be to organise tool sales and come up with creative ways to promote sales in your local community. For example, you could organise a pop-up shop; get involved in eBay and postage; network with auction houses or collectors; and so on! As a member of the fundraising team, you'll also have the flexibility to shape your role around your own skills and interests. And with the opportunity to build new friendships and engage with your community, you'll be making a positive impact on the world around you.
If you're an enthusiastic person who loves engaging with others and getting people excited about a great cause, we want to hear from you. Join our team today and help make a difference!
This role is open in both Rugby and Ipswich. Get in touch today by contacting Jess McLaughlin, our Volunteering Coordinator, at jessica.mclaughlin@twam.uk.
